The Sharing Harm Reduction Practices Network
We connect harm reduction practitioners within our region, creating opportunities for network members to share their knowledge and expertise with each other. We began with 7 states in the central Appalachian region (GA, KY, NC, OH, TN, VA, & WV), and are currently expanding to include more southeastern and bordering states.
Our goal is to be member-led and directed, offering network activities that meet the needs expressed by practitioners. You can find information on our ongoing activities and opportunities for horizontal skill-sharing below.
SHARP Sessions
SHARP Sessions are member-led gatherings that provide an unstructured space to spend time with others working in harm reduction who “get it.”
Share information with the network, discuss your current work, offer support when it is needed, and take some time to hang out with other network members.
Newsletter
We publish the SHARP newsletter every 3-4 months. The newsletter focuses on highlighting the work being done within our region and sharing "news you can use" from our members and partners.
